a couple questions 2012/8/7 23:55
Hi all,

I'm planning a trip in November and I have a couple quick questions:

1) Can anyone recommend a nice place to see the Tokyo skyline from outside in the suburbs? Maybe a ropeway up a mountain or something like that.

2) Are there any festivals, even smaller ones, going on in Tokyo from 11/6 to 11/11?

3) This spot: http://www.japan-guide.com/blog/koyo11/111109.html looks nice but I'd prefer not rent a car. Any other winter cherry blossom spots?

Thanks for your time!

How far away from Tokyo are you talking about? There's a distant view from Takaosan, which is a lovely, serene mountain that also has hiking trails and offers a view of Fujisan. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3029.html

regarding Fujioka, is there a taxi stand at the park? I would hate to ride a taxi there and then get stuck. Maybe just during the Jugatsuzakura season?

Thanks
