I'm interested to buy JR West Rail Pass - Kansai Area , and will get on the JR bus for mountain Takao from Kyoto.
I would like to know that JR pass will valid for that bus or not?

I think so.
Is Kansai Thru Pass (Surrutto Kansai) valid on Kyoto city bus?
If it's valid, I may get on Kyoto city bus no.8 to Takao by use that pass instead.
