Trip to Yakushima November car sightseeing?

hello,

me and my girlfriend we are visiting yakushima this november. we are travelling from tokyo to kyoto, then hiroshima, then to yakushima and back to kyoto.

on 23th nov. we are taking the ferry to yakushima and stay there at tashiro bekkan miyanoura till the morning of nov 26th.
so we have 2 full days to explore the island with a rented car.

we would like to see the awesome forests, great beaches and other interesting things.
can you please give us some hints or maybe a trip guide where to start and what to do on these days?

what should we do if the ferries dont depart on these days because of weather? are they generally not so full or should we book them now? where to do so?

I don't think there is a need to fix that now. I recommend to become familiar with the practical details (e.g. rough travel times) and then decide on a daily basis based on weather and mood.
