Does Samsung S5570 Galaxy Mini work in Japan? 2012/9/23 18:33
I have just read that although there is no GSM mobile network in Japan, 3G phones may work as they can connect the Japanese network.
Does anyone have exact info if Samsung S5570 Galaxy Mini can be used in Japan?

If you are from the US, you should check with your carrier.

If you use it in the 2100 MHz frequency band, it should work. I also have an Android phone in Europe and there are options in 'Mobile networks' that allow me to select if I want to use only 2G networks, only GSM or - and this is what you should select - only WCDMA (3G).
