Yes, till March 2013, and there are daily illuminations too.

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be permament now. I had not heard that there were any plans to move it again [I know a few keen Gundam fans :)]

I've seen the one in Odaiba in March 2012 and it wasn't the same one as the one I saw in Shizuoka on October 2010. At least the marking on the shoulders were different and that's what got me thinking it was a different one. I may be wrong and all they did was to replace the "decals" as the 2010 one was a 30th anniversary edition.

But now that I look at each one, it seems it's only the "decals" which changed.
