wouldn't have a clue about the cinema, but in terms of an amusement park, what sort of thing are you after? Scary rides? Cute characters? Half day or full day?

Fuji Q - full day, big screamfest. Need to catch a bus or train from Tokyo, as it's near Fujisan.

Disney's ones (haven't been to either. Not a Disney girl myself)

Sea Paradise (Yokohama) - can do in a half day. We have only ever bought Pleasure Land passes.

Cosmoworld (Yokohama) - nice little one by the water. Handy for an evening rollercoaster ride.

the greatest..., it's clearly Disney.

I add one to the above list, although I can't recommend this(^_^;

HanaYashiki(Asakusa) - NINJAs often prowl around there.

Hanayashiki has a nostalgic, old fairground feel to it. It's family-oriented but we went there once too and had fun. The Surprising House was an experience. Generally though, it's not in the same category as the other parks. Cute, historic, kitsch.

If you're after thrilling rides, definitely Fuji-Q. 3 of the best rollercoasters in the whole planet. Eejanaika is just unbelievable. Tip: Go on a weekday; never from Friday to Sunday!
