3g Data package rental in Japan

Hey, me again.
Sorry for all the questions, but that's probably the last one, in 12 hours I will be on the plane to Japan.
I have an international sim card, and I just thought to myself if I can rent a data package (Like 2GB or something) and use it with my own sim. However all companies require that I rent their own sim or their phone.
Perhaps you know a company that allows tourists to rent 3g data package without renting a sim/phone?
It's not critical, but it could be nice if it was possible.
