Kyoto on holiday November 15

Hello! I will travel to kyoto on November 15 and I know it's a holiday, but I wonder if it's a very full day, because I will visit the market nishiki, Gion, Higashiyama and kiyomizudera. And also like to know if there is a possibility to walk from Higashiyama to kiyomizudera or if I have to catch a bus. Thanks

No, it is not a holiday! It is a regular weekday. But mid November is a popular time for Kyoto. You can expect the popular bus lines to be busy, especially the Kyoto Station - Kiyomizudera section.
walk from Higashiyama to kiyomizudera
Kiyomizudera is located inside the Higashiyama district!

It's a 2.1km walk, roughly, from Higashiyama subway station to Kiyomizu-dera. Some of it's a bit hilly, and there's a billion things to see on the way (temples, shrines, parks, shops, food!)
Chion-in temple has a monthly flea market on the 15th, and this is this area.

Thanks!!! I thought it was a holiday, I'm very relieved... And I wonder if it's worth buying bus passes to kyoto and which would be the best?
