Getting to Hokokuji Bamboo Temple 2012/10/27 12:47
I can use some good directions on how to get to this temple. I can get to Kamakura JR station, but where do I go to get a bus and what number do I take etc? Also, after I finish my visit, is it easy enough to get the bus back to the station? Just step over to the other side of the street etc?

I'm unsure, but for reference.
I took bus for Kamakura station here,
when I and my girlfriend visited there.

Here is timetable for the bus.

Then we gone to there on foot.
But they say the bus-stop No.5 on this map is for Hokoku-ji temple.

No.5 is for 鎌24, 鎌23 and 鎌26,
and all of them go to Jomyo-ji (浄妙寺) bus-stop.
Hokoku-ji temple is a five-minute walk from Jomyo-ji (浄妙寺) bus-stop.

BTW, bus-stops on the route.
1.鎌倉駅(東口) Kamakura station (East)
2.若宮大路 Wakamiya-ohji
3.八幡宮 Hachiman-gu
4.大学前 Daigaku-mae
5.岐れ道 Wakare-michi
6.杉本観音 Sugimoto-Kannon
7.浄明寺 Jomyo-ji
8....
