Discounts for Tsukuba Express 2012/11/13 05:27
Hi all,

I am currently looking for accommodation to stay at in Tokyo. Currently deciding between K's House and Khaosan. I would prefer K's house, but it is further away from the Asakusa subway lines (about 15-20 mins by foot) compared to Khaosan (less than 10 mins). I don't mind walking, it is mainly time which I am concerned with.

The Asakusa Tsukuba station is very close to K's House (about 5 mins walk). But it's about an extra 200 yen per ride. Are there any discounts (e.g. one day passes) which covers the Tsukuba line in addition to other lines around Tokyo?

Sets of 11 tickets for a given section (to be used in either direction) can be purchased at the cost of 10. But there are no day passes for Tokyo that include the Tsukuba Express.
