I have seen it on television the other day, and it is pretty colorful already. japan-guide.com will report from there tomorrow Monday.

I visited Takaosan on 9 November; many leaves were already red or yellow.
Now it may be too late to enjoy fall foliage.

No, it is not too late yet. The colors are now at their peak and should remain attractive for at least one more week.
