Trains to Mt Tako On New Year 2012/12/2 17:10
Hi,

My friends and I will be in Tokyo for New Year and we are planning to travel to Mt Takao to watch the first sunrise of 2013.

I find via Hyperdia we can either take the Keio line or JR Chuo line. Can anyone confirm if these lines will run throughout the night (12am - 5am) on 1st of January 2013?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Yes, the Keio Line runs to Takaosan-guchi every 30-40 minutes through the night. The Chuo Line to Takao Station every 20-40 minutes.

I will be doing the same as well and have been searching websites for any info about trains running throughout the night to Mt Takao but can't seem to find any. Which link did you use to get the train info?

Thanks in advance
