Accommodation in Nara

Anyone know of any relatively cheap youth hostels/hostels in Nara? I'm flying into Osaka on the 25th of January (most likely) and land at around 7pm (mind you, I still have to clear customs etc so I probably won't get out of the airport until around 9ish). I'd like to stay in Nara for the night so that I can go to the Yamayaki festival the following day.

I wouldn't. Just spend the night in Osaka and travel to Nara the following day. Many more options for budget accommodation in Osaka, especially when the festival is on I would guess.

I would say it takes 30 mitutes + at most to get out of the airport. Your luggage will come out in 15 minutes or so and the customs take a few minutes.
