I plan to stay at Toya lake on 27/3/2013

I will reach in afternoon and would like to go to sight seeing at Usuzan.

Would like to check whether the bus and Usuzan ropeway have service in that period

It is about 6.7 km from Toya-ko bus station to Usuzan ropeway station. On foot it would take more than 1.5 hr.

If you take a taxi, you might not find one when you want to return, especially in Feb.
It happened to me in warm weather. I waited and waited, then finally I asked a lady truck driver who was happy to take me back to the station. If I couldn't speak Japanese, I might have had a long, long wait.
