Weiss Hotel Niseko

Hi,
Anyone stayed at this hotel before? We booked 2 nights here and understand that it is kinda far off from the village and we dont drive.

We searched through its website for the shuttle service but dont quite comprehend what it is trying to say.

The question here is:
1. Is there shuttle service from Kutchan JR Station to the hotel? If there is, what time it is?
2. Is there shuttle service from the hotel to the village? If there is, whatis the frequency?

We tried to email the hotel on several occassion but they did not respond (maybe it is in english). We tried to call the hotel but they couldnt understand english too.

Yes, they have very limited shuttle buses from Kutchan Station. They depart at 15:00 and 17:00 and require reservations. I would assume they are free for guests (considering they require reservations), but their website doesn't say either way.

Alternatively you could take a taxi, which takes about 20 minutes and costs around 3000 yen.

2. Is there shuttle service from the hotel to the village? If there is, whatis the frequency?

You hotel runs a shuttle to Gran Hirafu Ski Resort (Hanazono Area). It departs at 8:50 and 10:30 returning at 16:30.

Village? Are you trying to go to Niseko Village Ski Resort? There is no shuttle there but it is ski accessible via Gran Hirafu Resort.

Note that there is also snow cat skiing offered at the nearby Weiss Ski Resort. They no longer operate lifts however.

That's not good. Since you're going to need to make reservations for the shuttle bus you may want to try sending them a simply worded email in both English and Japanese. Try running the message through google translate. It won't be perfect but will probably be good enough to get the message across. Or maybe someone else can help you out with a simple message to sent.
