Huis Ten Bosch - Kurokawa - HTB

I'm staying near Huis Ten Bosch until March. I'm performing at Huis Ten Bosch and only get one day off a week. I want to visit the Kurokawa onsen but will have to do it in one day, meaning I will leave Huis Ten Bosch early Thursday morning and then have to be back before the last bus/trains end Thursday night. I know it's a lot of travel for a short time, but it's all I got and I really want to visit Kurokawa while I'm here.
First, I see that there might be a bus that leaves Huis Ten Bosch and goes directly to Kurokawa, does anyone know anything about that?
Second, I also see as another option if there isn't a bus, that Japan Railways train will get me to Kumamoto. From there, I see there are a few bus options. However all the sights are in Japanese and I can't read them.
I'm curious where the Kumamoto bus station is in relation to the Kumamoto Japan Railway station? I don't want to get lost.
Also, how often do the busses leave Kumamoto for Kurokawa?
How long do they take to get there?
How late does the return bus leave Kurokawa that would get me to Kumamoto in time to catch a train that gets me back to Huis Ten Bosch before the trains stop running for the night?
This feels super overwhelming, but I think it's because I can't read the bus schedules. Most of the advice on the forums is old, so I'm hoping someone can help me sort through the current schedules. I would like to go either January 31st or February 7th.
