Sumo Museum open during Grand Tournament?

Hi,
I will be in Tokyo between 16 - 20 May. I was thinking about going to the sumo museum in Ryogoku.
According to their official website, there will be a Grand Tournament there from 12 - 26 May. My question:
1) Are matches held everyday within that time?
2) Is the Sumo Museum open to the public who doesn't have tickets to the tournament? Or is it closed to non-spectators?

Yes, the May tournament is on from May 12-26, 2013.
Is the Sumo Museum open to the public who doesn't have tickets to the tournament?
No, you have to have a ticket for the tournament in order to visit the museum during tournaments.
