renting bike in arashiyama

i'm planning to have a 1 day trip including a stay at hanaikada ryokan in arashiyama. after a stroll at tenryuji, i might rent a bike from the station.

is it easy & safe to park/leave the bike when i'm sightseeing some places? will it come with lock?

Yes, there is bicycle parking at most sites. It is safe, and the biggest danger is that you lose the key to the lock.

will it come with lock?
