Tokyo Metro Pass for 15 days 2013/2/6 00:53
Can a tourist buy Metro pass for 1 month and use it for 15 days only and get refund for remaining days???

No.

In general the day passes do not pay off for most tourists. What are your plans?

Regarding a one-month commuter ticket of Tokyo Metro, you cannot get refund after using it for 15 days. In most cases, the price is higher than fares of 30 rides (in 15 rountrips).

Like above mentioned, unless you plan to trainhop all day long, those railpasses in generally are not good value.

I would suggest buying a pasmo or suica card instead.

Please understand that this pass is only for the 8 lines of the Tokyo Metro. That doesn't include JR (Yamanote, etc.) Keio, Odakyu, Tobu, Toei, and other private lines.

Most people don't get that pass as most of the time, it doesn't pay off either.

fairylights87: a metro 2 day open ticket which will cost you 980 Yen.

Its name is "Special 2-Day Open Ticket."

John B: this pass is only for the 8 lines of the Tokyo Metro.

Tokyo Metro is now operating nine lines including Fukutoshin Line.
The four Toei subway lines where this pass is not valid are Shinjuku Line, Mita Line, Asakusa Line and Oedo Line.
