Home - Locations - Stanley Park Rose Garden

The Rose Garden of Stanley Park is one of the nicest places in Vancouver for a hanami pick nick. It features about a dozen Yoshino Cherry trees in a very nice surrounding. Because the Rose Garden gets shadowy relatively early in the afternoon, a visit is recommended around noon or during early afternoon. The Yoshino trees of the Rose Garden are usually a few days behind the flowering schedule of other Yoshino trees in the city.

Some trees have opened their first blossoms. But at least one more week is needed until the Yoshino trees reach full bloom.
