Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 12
It was carnage at the top of the leaderboard as six of nine lost. Ozeki Pandaazuma, Komusubi Chocshoporyu and Kiriazuma were the only ones to make it to nine wins. A large group of ten players lie in wait one win behind.
Chishafuwaku and Athenayama are joined by Kotononami for the Juryo division leadership after they both lost. And the leaders of Makushita lost too and now there are six hopefuls all with ten wins. Very open.
And we can gladly report that Yokozuna Yumezukuri, with some strong picking, has cleared his kadoban status with three days to spare. Congratulations!

Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 11
The two leaders on day ten both lost and the yusho race is now a free-for-all with four days remaining. Ozeki Pandaazuma and Komusubi Chocshoporyu are the only sanyaku representatives in a group of nine hopefuls.
Chishafuwaku and Athenayama lead Juryo with nine wins. Tochinojo and Owll head Makushita with ten.

Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 9
Yesterday's sole leader Rupatengu lost and allowed Norizo, Gonzaburow and Natsunoyama into the yusho lead. They are all aiming for kachikoshi tomorrow.
Chishafuwaku stays in the Juryo lead with another win. And in Makushita we lost our final unbeaten player, Kabaryu. There are now seven yusho hopefuls all with 8 wins.

Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 8
Rupatengu takes the sole lead of the Makuuchi division as his rivals Komusubi Chocshoporyu and Norizo slipped up.
Chishafuwaku leads Juryo with seven wins. And Kabaryu is our last unbeaten player...all alone at the top of the Makushita yusho standings.

Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 6
As we approach the first weekend Komusubi Chocshoporyu leads the way with five Maegashira hopefuls, all with 5-1 records.
Chishafuwaku, Kotononami and Kashunowaka lead Juryo, also with five wins. Mariohana, Owll, and two newcomers Terukaze and Kabaryu are unbeaten in Makushita.

Natsu Basho 2024 - Day 2
Welcome all to the Natsu tournament. Our participation numbers are way up from Haru, back over 200 with 204, close to the highest ever of 208. Thanks for playing the game!
With plenty of uncertainty on the dohyo we are looking at an unpredictable tournament. Yokozuna Yumezukuri will have to be careful as he is kadoban and needs 8 wis to keep his rank. He is off to a 1-1 start.
Only one sanyaku representative is unbeate after two days: Komusubi Kazutoyama. He and nine others lead the top division.
Good luck to all the players!
