Tokyo 1 Day Combination Pass - Question 2024/5/1 17:13
hi, i will be flying into narita airport and wish to head to tokyo station straight. there is a train service called narita express (N'EX) that i know does exactly that, but i have a question. i am interested in buying a Tokyo 1-Day Combination Pass that allows unlimited rides on Tokyo Metro, Toei Subway, Toei Buses, many other more lines as well as the JR line. This Tokyo 1-Day Combination Pass is offered by JR EAST. As far as I know, as long as you have a JR Pass, the N'EX will be free. My question is: is this Tokyo 1-Day Combination Ticket considered a JR Pass, which means i will be able to 1. ride the N'EX free or 2. top-up the express pass if necessary or do I have to pay for the N'EX without any discount?

tl;dr is the Tokyo 1-Day Combination Pass considered a JR Pass that allows me discounted or free rides on the Narita Express?

the website that said riding the N'EX is free for those with JR pass- https://www.jrailpass.com/blog/narita-express

the website where i can buy the Tokyo 1-Day Combination Pass-
https://www.jreast.co.jp/multi/en/pass/tokyo_free.html

Thanks in advance!
