Alternative Tickets

The All Shikoku Rail Pass is the much better deal than the Shikoku Free Kippu; however, it is only available to foreign tourists.

In the month of your birthday, you should use the Birthday Kippu instead of the Shikoku Free Kippu. The Birthday Kippu covers the same area as the Shikoku Free Pass (incl. limited express trains) plus the whole network of the Tosa Kuroshio Railroad. Like the Shikoku Free Kippu, the Birthday Kippu is valid on three consecutive days, but it costs only 13,000 yen. The ticket can only be used in the month of your birthday. Up to three accompanying travelers are also eligible to purchase and use the ticket.
