Bring sake back home

I'll be leaving from Narita airport back to Australia. But I'll be on a flight that stops once, before returning back home.
I want to buy sake but I know I can't buy it at narita airport.
If I buy sake outside and put it in my luggage, would it be ok?
I'm worried it might break in my luggage, should I bubble wrap it?

Why? There are duty free shops at Narita, so I think you can buy sake.
Do I misunderstand you???
