Plaining to visit Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo :
Where can I find a shop that sell various type of Maneki Neko (Beckoning cats) ?
(Tokoname/Seto/Kutani/ , etc )
I am a big fan, I already have a basic look /traditional ones.

Nakamise shopping street leading towards Sensoji temple in Asakusa, Tokyo has a shop that specialises in Maneki Neko. You will find lots of places in Japan selling them though, especially in tourist areas.

If you have access to the NHK World website, take a took at the television programs - Tokyo Eye, this week, highlighted the Setagaya section of Tokyo - there is a temple called Gotoku-ji there which was many Maneki Neko displayed and also area shops sell them - do a search for more info....Enjoy!

There is a manekineko speciality shop along the Nakamise in Asakusa.
