kawaii cafes and restaurants in tokyo? 2013/6/19 10:54
Konnichiwa!
I'm going to be in tokyo with my boyfriend at the end of July. I'm looking for cute themed food anywhere! I know namco namja town, animate and Galaxxxy cafe make cute themed food. Can someone help me find more? Is there a Rilakkuma cafe? or Sanrio cafe? Is the creamy mami crepe truck still around? Anything anime or mascot related!

thanks for reading! look forward to hearing back!

There's a Gundam Cafe in Tokyo Station. ^^

There's a cute crepe shop in Harajuku. The interior is all pink and stuff, and there's a stage area too, iirc, but I don't recall the name.

Ah, what Carlove meant by that picture finally dawned on me...
I thought here is nobody who said "Desu".
"Kawaii Desu" is a set phrase, right?
Sorry, off-topic.

Wait... gyoza stadium and ice cream city aren't coming back? I knew there were redoing Namjatown, but that's crazy! I wanted to eat lots of odd ice creams without having to travel to different locations!! Now I'm bummed....

Sorry for lack of explanation.
Namja town is rebuild smaller and a part is changed for J-World.
The renewal open will be on July 11, 2013.

This official announcement says Gyoza Stadium will come back.
It's renamed as "Namja Gyoza Stadium".
And "Fukubukuro Dessert YokoCho" is newly established.
See pictures on the last 2 pages.

I was reading articles about this yesterday after hearing about it.

Namjatown is on the 2nd and 3rd floor...

J-World is taking up the 3rd floor, which use to be occupied by Ice Cream City and Dessert Republic.

So I'm guessing there are squeezing everything onto the 2nd?

@SBxJap
Right, also I read that Namja town is put on the 2F only.
And Gyoza and Dessert are belong to Namja town.
So also they will be in business on the 2F, I think.
Although I can't find the new map of the town after renewal.
