Cancel confirm hotel reservation?

Hey guys, need help. I have an agent processing my visa to Japan. They said that the processing of my visa is in package with hotel. Is it true? Also, they already had a confirmation of my hotel in Shinjuku Washington Hotel but payment is up to next week. I decided not to avail the hotel anymore. Is it allowed not to avail? Is there a fee for that? thank you.

For your specific hotel package, you will need to contact your agent and ask. They must be a travel agent that is handling your visa application and at the same time give you an airline/hotel package, so that you will have a firm itinerary, and they can sell you the package.
