Hachinohe City Mascots? 2013/8/29 17:59
So I believe I ran into the mascots promoting the city while I was in Ueno station. I kind of fell in love with them!

This is the website I found on them: http://www.city.hachinohe.aomori.jp/index.cfm/8,0,15,245,html

I was wondering if anyone has heard of these guys?
I would be very interested in visiting the city if only to run into the mascots again OR buy merchandise with these guys (think plushies!)
Does anyone know if there is merchandise with these cute mascots on it? If so, where is it available to purchase in Hachinohe (or anywhere)?

Thanks!

I was stationed nearby in Misawa about 25 years ago. I don't remember those at all. I do remember wooden horses as a souvenir.

If you can join or ask Simon on this group, I'm sure he'd be able to give you some information. His amount of knowledge in the area is tremendous!

I visited Hachinohe about a month ago during the Sansa Taisai, I also don't remember having seen those anywhere.
