Will car auction prices reduce as year ends?

Hi,
I am importing cars through a dealer in Japan but the trend of pricing is somewhat confusing to me. For instance, a Prius 2010 1500cc was 890K yen mid of october and now its touching 990K yen. I have been seeing this trend of up and down often. I am wondering what would be the trend like in december since the year is ending and I have 3 years import restriction in my country. Should I be waiting as the price might fluctuate as the year ends?
Looking for expert advise.
