Recommendation for Izakaya/Karaoke in Namba?

I wonder if there are any nice Izakayas/Karaoke places in the Namba/Nipponbashi area in Osaka. I'm looking for a place that offers good food where people can just pick up the mike and sing without renting a private room, etc.). Thank you very much!

Your best bet is prowl the sidestreets between Dotonbori and Sennichimaedori; there are a lot of small karaoke pubs in the area. Most are not at ground level though so you'll have to look at the signage.

I know there are a bunch of karaoke izakaya in the long covered arcade just south of Dobutsuenmae station, but unless you're singing enka I'm not sure if the regulars will appreciate your efforts.
