Where can I listen to Kansai-ben? 2014/3/11 10:13
I'll be going to school in Osaka this Fall,
so I've been studying Kansai-ben lately to get ready for that. I'd really like to practice listening, but I can't seem to find anything online that uses a lot of Kansai dialect. So does anybody know of any videos, movies, podcasts, etc that use mostly Kansai/Osaka-ben? Thanks.

Or you could watch Lovely Complex. I warn you now, your time at school in Osaka is unlikely to be as funny :)

「関西弁 動画」で検索してみて!関連動画がたくさん出てくるよ!
(Try to search for "Kansai dialect video"!Related videos come out a lot!)
【例】良い子の関西弁関東弁講座
(【Ex】For the good child, "Kansai", "Kanto" dialect course)

watch "downtown" on youtube. osaka comedy. you can find old episodes of gottsu ee kanji on youtube, though the clips are frequently deleted.

they are absolutely hilarious sometimes.

i learned a lot of japanese (some of it very bad language) through watching downtown and checking a dictionary when i didn't understand the word. i credit gottsu for most of my conversational japanese listening ability
