translation of old fabric lettering symbol? 2014/4/25 19:39
I found two old embroideries that look nice and I am thinking to buy them, but there is words/symbols that may have meaning next to them, so I was hoping to find out what they mean or say. I have uploaded the photos on hosting site ink frog, can you help me please.
thank you in advance,

One of them I can "guess" to be (meaning I recognize several of the characters, but not all so I had to fill in a bit...): ŽۛƓSOr [blue (Chinese) porcelain, inlaid, iron powder, peony pattern vase]
The left, shorter line says XX era, around year YY, but I cannot quite make it out.

Apparently it (of course) depicts the vase.
