Hi,
Is there a tour available where i can try-out sumo wrestling ie. go up against an amateur wrestler just for fun?
This is a genuine question btw..
Cheers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQpgXjh18vgThis is such experience but this guy went through the Japan Sumo Westling Society and then the training gym and some very complicated processes. I would suggest you contact a university sumo club. And probably not a championship club. I found this page by the Tokyo University Sumo club. I doubt you will find the strongest wrestlers here but they will let you join their practice. And Tokyo U is the most elite university in Japan. I'm sure these guys will speak English to some extent. http://dosukoi.net/todai/e/index.html
