World Cup 20th June, Fukuoka 2014/6/9 10:23

I am staying at a mid range hotel in-between Hakata Station and Canal City, and would like to watch World Cup match 20th June 6am, between Japan and Ivory Coast. No sure if my hotel is showing this match in room TV. Would prefer a pub/drinking hole/cafe/restaurant, where the Ultra Nippon fans would congregate, for the lively atmosphere.

Any suggestions where this place might be?

The Team Japan is scheduled to play a soccer game against the Greek team, not the Ivory Coast team, on 20 June 2014 from 7 am (Japan Standard Time) in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Hopefully a clerk of your Fukuoka hotel and/or a police officer of a nearby police box [koban] may know where a public viewing of a live coverage of this soccer game will take place in the vicinity.

Nippon Television Network plans to cover this FIFA World Cup game in a live broadcasting program from 5:50 am of 20 June on its terrestrial channel, which can be watched in Fukuoka via Fukuoka Broadcasting System [FBS] on its terrestrial channel.

Also NHK plans to cover this FIFA World Cup game, on its satellite television channel BS1 in a live broadcasting program from 6 am of 20 June.
