bike rental on shikotsuko lake

I am an American staying at Kyukamura on shikotsu lake for a couple days this August. I would like to rent a bike and find some trails or places to ride. I believe there is a cycle road nearby. Does anyone have any suggestions? I like to ride mt bikes but any riding is enjoyable. thanks
