The meaning of 2014/7/5 20:05
Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion on what the name 「奈月」 meant.
I know that individually, 奈 is なら, which means "what." It is also used in 奈落.
月 means "moon."

Together, I would like to know what the name means.

According to the answers here : http://oshiete.goo.ne.jp/qa/1337133.html

It doesn't really mean anything when used in names. I suppose parents use it to name children when they want a "na" sound but don't like the other characters you can use for it, such as
菜.

Also, even when all the characters in a name are used "for their meaning", that doesn't mean the name itself has a well-defined meaning like other words do. Sometimes, the relationship between the two (or more) characters is not obvious. For example,
風香 is wind + scent. There's no way to say whether it is intended to mean for example "scent of the wind", or "scented wind", or something else.

And I have no idea why a line break gets inserted after all my 日本語 text...
