Hi, i will be travelling to tokyo but will be staying in hotel during the whole trip. i am wanting to buy some fresh ingredients from a supermarket and cook but just for one meal. is there a place that i could go just to use the kitchen?

I don't think I've ever heard of any kitchen facility for rental - you will need to either rely on a personal friend, or stay at a hostel with shared kitchen, or maybe so-called "weekly apartment."

Could you clarify? Why just for "one meal"? If you're inviting some residents for that meal, perhaps one of them can reserve a kitchen at a public hall (kouminkan) of some kind.

Also, what exactly do you need? If you only need a microwave, that's not too difficult to find. However, if you need a full gas range and plenty of space, that's a different story.

There is a kitchen in each room Citadines Shinjuku.

There is also a room with a mini kitchen Tokyu Stay.
