Lost wallet in Shonai area

Hello, my daughter lost her wallet on Monday August 25th while touring Shonai area : Haguro Shrine / Kamo Aquarium / Japan sea with her youth group. She had her visa debit card and about 29000 Yen. She retraced her steps but, could not find it and her bus was leaving. Any suggestions as who I could contact?

If I look at the information lost something of Yamagata police, there was no Lost purse in Tsuruoka city.
When she is in Japan, is she did not report to the police?
Where do she dropped it, she do not remember?

She was at the Kamo Aquarium . She left her name but had not heard back. Is there police that I could contact to see if it has been turned in?
