Fun birthday place in Harajuku?

Hi everyone,
My friend's birthday is coming up on a sunday and we'll both be in Tokyo. I want to dress up crazy in public at least once in my life and I've been gold sunday on Harajuku is THE place for that. We don't want to offend anyone by being crazy outside of Harajuku but sadly all cool cafés I google are out of the area which means werd have to het dressed again.
Anyone maybe have any cool rating/drinking suggestions in the Harajuku area?

I donft get it, why are you embarrassed about dressing up on golden Sunday at Harajuku. I thought the point of it is to dress up and show your cosplay and fashion side. Have you seen how some people dress up there and dance? Next time your out there, go for it dress up and have fun.
