Hello, I happen to stumble upon this word lately a lot: 不思議 So what does it excaclty mean? In the dictionaries it is translated as wonder, miracle, strange, mystery. But I wanted to ask here from First-Hand japanese speakers. How is it used? Thanks in advance!

Fumichu wa Fushigi na hito desu. (Fumichu is a mysterious person).
Nippon wa Fushigi na kuni desu. (Japan is a mysterious country)
Fushigi no kuni no Alice. (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland)

不思議 is basically something that is difficult to comprehend. I can add "weird" to that dictionary. Also, the slang "fushigi-chan" is a bit different from the term just "fushigi." The former is used to discribe eccentric people such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Actually, the character "Weird Girl" from Frankenwinnie is translated "Fushigi-chan" in the Japanese language version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqyROWwnrfA
