Getting a kotatsu in Europe

Anyone have any idea how I can get hold of a kotatsu in Europe? I really miss having one in Japan and winter is coming... Best would be local companies selling them- anyone now? Second best- anyone know of any Japanese companies that will sell to Europe? (yes, I will need a voltage adapter) Third best- will have to bug a Japanese friend to help me out...anyone know of any kotatsu with legs that screw off? (for easier postage.)

It is too expensive to buy and it doesn't fit in the western living style. I have made a few kotatsu for my family in US for our couch and desk chairs with the components available cheap locally. We all enjoy kotatsu every winter. Are you handy or do you have a handy friend?

Wow, that French one is expensive. The second one looks a bit more affordable but I'm not sure I trust something covered in anime pictures and talking about anime like that.... handy- I guess I'm kind of ok with diy, can do simple stuff, but don't have any tools at the moment and would rather not try a custom job

I would be scared to use Japanese kotatsu in Europe, even with voltage converter. It is a heater, it can burn down... Another question is, have you ever used kotatsu? I can barely use it even with the lowest temperature settings.
