Do I need reservations here? (Unagi Kabuto) 2014/10/13 02:38
Hi,

Please help me check out if I need reservations here? Also I don't want to order their omakase set, can I just have their unajū when I go there?

I assume you are talking about the one in Ikebukuro.

The average spending is between 10,000 - 14,000 yen for dinner, and people tend to leave the orders to the "omakase." If you want to try it, I suggest you go there for lunch (average spending 3,000 - 4,000 yen).

Having said that, they are a very small place, and one site recommend booking at least one month ahead.

Closed on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and national holidays. Cash only, 15 seats only. They take reservations only via phone, 13 - 18 hours only. They will not even pick up the phone after that, as they want to concentrate on cooking.
