Shipping from overseas (China) to Japan 2014/10/20 11:55
I was thinking of buying some thing from aliexpress and dealextreme, and I was wondering if there will be issues if I ship it to Japan where I'm living now.

I'm especially worried about customs.

tried dealextreme delivery from China/HK..
most of the time package were discreet and declared as gift to avoid hefty custom tax/duty.
becareful of delivery method as DHL will always get you 8% duty whereas normal postal or EMS will normally gey through untax.
well that is my experience dealing with Chins/HK internet shop deliveries..

I've ordered from dealextreme before and it was generally a smooth process and there were no customs fees charged (although there is always the chance that they would be). Just be aware that it is generally slow (3+ weeks in transit) and I found their payment system a little inconvenient. Otherwise it was fine.
