I'm traveling to Tokyo next week from Malaysia, want to know the power socket to use in Tokyo.

Type A, ungrounded two pin similar to the ones used in North America. You'll need a plug adapter, and possibly a transformer depending on your devices.

remember that japan power socket are 100V
