Washlet toilet in the UK 2015/2/17 07:44
I fell in love with the washlet toilet and wondered if it's possible to get one that works on 220v?

I am a plumber here in England a believe this could be a good business sideline for me.

Thank you

Yes, they exist. Popular buy for Chinese tourists visiting Japan, apparently. Available at duty free shops in town and, sometimes, at the airport. Can't help you with how to import one to the UK direct from the maker, but you could try searching on the Rakuten Global site to see if there is a seller there.

In fact a quick Google search for Toto UK finds they are available there.

JPY 287,652.92 seems expensive for 220v 50hz!

Check the toto worldwide/Europe sites. Some of the posh bathroom places in London do them at astronomical prices

if you want something different, you have to pay the price.

Hi,

Look at eBay Australia, search for 'washlet'
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l131...

Some are reasonable priced and sometime even include free (worldwide) shipping and are 220v.
I have no idea about quality etc.
