I am visiting Japan in May for 3 weeks, i am looking for any recommendations of places to meditate. Id like to spend 3 or 4 days maybe meditating with buddhist monks. I would also like to practise reiki and visit Dr Usui temple in Kyoto is it easy to get to?

Daisen-in in the daitokuji tempel complex ( http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3910.html ) in kyoto offers meditation on weekends from 5p.m. to 6p.m. and tourists are welcome to join for a fee of 1000 yen. This is at least what I remember from a sign inside daisen-in a few days ago. Maybe this helps. Regards
