Sprained ankle support 2015/3/10 11:26
I have a recurring ankle injury and requires a brace when it hurts. This is the first time the injury has caused problems in Japan. Can anyone suggest something I can buy from the drug store to support my ankle? I'm hoping to find something like this:

Sorry to hear of your situation.

You could take that photo, and ask for "ashikubi sapootaa" (ankle supporter) to see what types they might have. You might want to try sports gear/wear section in a shopping mall/department store also. Best wishes.

Better stocked drug stores carry the type of ankle support that you are looking for. You can also order online from amazon. I like this brand which is one of the sleeker ace bandage types, but there are neoprene and heavier types if that is what you prefer.
