Pen Store Recommendations 2015/3/15 16:30
Any recommendations for office supply/art supply store/bookstores in Tokyo and/or Kyoto that have the best selection of pens? Enjoy picking up regular pens on my travels--not interested in high end fine pens or fountain pens. Thanks in advance!

If you are looking for "regular" ball-point pens, Tokyu Hands (branches in places including Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Shinjuku in Tokyo, and I believe there are branches in Osaka and Kyoto), or LOFT (Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Yurakucho; Osaka and Kyoto too) would be fun to look at.

Art supply stores: Sekaido (Shinjuku, Ikebukuro PARCO, etc.)

Itoya is a good choice. Also, T-Site in Daikanyama has an entire wall of pens, and a pen sommelier to help you decide: http://www.whereintokyo.com/venues/25359.html

The pens in T-Site seem very high end but maybe I haven't seen the section you're referring to.

I feel like Loft has a much larger selection than Tokyu Hands, but I haven't checked out the store previously mentioned the Ginza.
