Charging Suica at convenience store? 2015/3/19 10:30
Hello! I have been to Japan a few times and I own a Suica card. Up until now I've always just charged it at the machine - however my brother wants to get a card too next time we go, and he is interested in the personalized stickers that you can put on the cards. As I understand it, this is not recommended if you're going to be putting it into the machine to charge it.

I'm curious if the card can be charged through tapping it at the convenience store instead. I've heard that SuicaMobile can do this, but can it be done with a regular Suica card too?

Thanks!

Yes, you can charge at most convenience stores. Since you don't need to put it in a machine you could have stickers on it.
