Looking for Sweets Store Chain

Hi, just wondering if anyone can recommend a popular chain caf/store that sells interesting desserts and/or sweets in Japan. I'm looking for something that is unique and difficult to find outside of Asia. It doesn't have to be traditional Japanese sweets, a Japanese take on western desserts/sweets is also great.
I prefer stores that are either just selling for take-outs or has a small sit down area.
I'll be in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka during the summer. So stores found in those areas would be good.
Many thanks!

For Tokyo, how about look into this site: http://sweets.enjoytokyo.jp/ It seems to me that more popular sweets shops are rather individual than in chain. The above site provides English subtitles in pink-colored fonts. For example, click "Tokyo Japaneses Sweets Shop Guide" on the middle of the page. Then, click "Recommendation" on the left. Now, no English are provided. But two grey buttons would be seen. The right one, "地図", means the map. Click it and the following Google map will show you the way. Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest http://www.sweets-forest.com/index2.phphas appeared in this book http://www.rootsandgrubs.com/books/pretty-good-number-one/and surely has some seats for eat-in.

Those are some great suggestions! I'll definitely try out some of those.
Any fusion type sweet shops that you can recommend? I was searching online and stumble on Mochicream, which sells donut shaped mochi. That sounded interesting. Anyone tried it? How was it? Are there anything else of the like out there I can check out when I'm in Japan?

We usually do not care about whether it is western ("yo-gashi") or Japanese ("wa-gashi"). Sweets, desserts, and "(o-)kashi" have almost same meanings and there are many fusion type sweets. They could be tried or purchased almost everywhere; at department stores (famous "depa-chika"), 24 hr convenience stores, casual supermarkets, and so on. Just go out and drop in some places you are interested in. Two fusion-type examples by Seven-eleven: the first one combines peach jam and cheese with "daifuku", and the second uses cherry taste whip cream with "koshi-an". http://azby.fmworld.net/gpp/cs/article/122043/These are seasonal and we are facing such kind almost everyday. https://locari.jp/posts/5526A fusion-dedicated store chain, Mon cher, appears to have their shops in many department stores in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, as well as in Shanghai, Seoul, and Hong Kong. http://www.mon-cher.com/shoplistSome more images for fusion-types: https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=%E5%92%8C%E6%B4%8B%E6%8A%98%E8%A1%B7...For general summer sweets: https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=%E5%A4%8F+%E3%81%8A%E8%8F%93%E5%AD%9...
